  • What is electro-copper?
Electro copper is a fire-retardant glazing consisting of a number of individual panes of glass which are separated by strips of electrically welded copper.
  • Can I turn off the touch sensor light when my 'Plus' series LED mirror is not in use?
No, the touch sensors stay illuminated when the mirror is not in use. If the mirror is hardwired to a light switch (not recommended) , you could turn off the light switch and that would shut off all power to the unit.
  • How does the defogging feature work on my new 'Plus' series LED mirror?
By activating the anti-fog system, this technology warms the mirror and prevents condensation to build up on the mirror. Note: 'Plus' models purchased *after* November 2021 feature a separate touch sensor to activate the defogging system. 'Plus' models purchased *before* November 2021 feature an automatic defogging system when the unit is turned on.
  • What does hardwired mean?
Hard-wired means the electrical cable comes furnished with the product and is physically connected or wired into the household wiring.
  • Are the lights replaceable on my LED mirror?
The LED light strips built into the mirror are guaranteed to last for a period of 10 years or 50,000 hours after the purchase date, whichever instance happens first. If only a few of the LED bulbs on the strip burn out, there will be no visible difference to the consumer. In the event that the whole strip burns out and it is past our 10 year / 50,000 hour warranty, the entire unit must be replaced. Refer to our product care and warranty document for additional information.
  • Are your mirrors JA8 compliant?
JA8 is mainly for LED lamp products, not for our mirror products. Mirror manufacturers don't have such a certification.
